What is going on with your forehead?
Before you choose, it helps to know what state your forehead is in. Most clients have one or more of these four things:
Lines only when you raise your brows. At rest the forehead is smooth. These lines come from the muscle moving.
Lines still there at rest. You are not raising your brows, but you still see a line. The skin has become thin and the line is set in.
Forehead skin less firm, with fine lines. Under side light the skin looks thin like paper, and foundation settles into the lines.
The tail of the brow drops a little. Your eyes look tired even after a good sleep.
A 10-second check: stand in front of a mirror and relax your face. If you still see lines on the forehead, that is the skin. Then raise your brows: the lines that only show now come from the muscle.
What HIFU can do for the forehead
HIFU sends focused ultrasound through the skin surface and makes small heat points in the dermis. The skin then renews its collagen, so it can become thicker and firmer over time. The skin surface is not broken and there is no wound.

Does it hurt, and do you need time off?
The forehead and brow feel more than the cheek. The skin here is thin and sits right on the bone. Most clients give it 4–6 out of 10. On the cheek, most give it 2–4. Each shot feels like a short hot prickle. The feeling does not stay.
After the session, the skin may be a little red for 1–2 hours. The area under the brow may swell a little for 1–3 days. Some clients feel mild numbness on the forehead for a few days. You do not need time off. You can wear makeup the next day.
When you will see results
For the first 1–2 weeks after the session, the skin feels a little tighter as old collagen contracts. The real result builds slowly over the next 8–12 weeks, while new collagen forms. The result is clearest at month 2–3. One session usually holds for 12–18 months, then fades slowly with age and skincare habits.
Everyone responds a bit differently. Skin that is still in good shape usually shows a clearer change than skin that is already very loose.
